Why Test Pecans for Food Safety?

A COA is required for food products used in supply for various industries we supply our pecans for, including bagging and distributing. The Food Safety Enhancement Act (FSEA) requires facilities to conduct hazard analysis, apply controls for prevention, and to use a plan for food safety.

The preventive controls include sanitation, training, controls, programs and verification. The Food Safety Modernization Act standards cover produce that is grown, harvested, and packaged. These measures were established to ensure industry standards.

Stahmann Pecans takes pride in providing consistent, quality, certified pecans for customers. We’ve owned and operated our pecan estate farm for over 70 years.
