For the first edition of our “Meet the Stahmanns Family” blog series, we start with Victor Sloan, the Director of Sales. Read on to learn more about Victor and the invaluable expertise and passion he brings to Stahmanns.
Q: What is your role at Stahmanns?
A: I’m the Director of Sales.
I assist with the development of new customers with excellent customer service as we continue to grow the business. I provide our customers with the necessary product information to ensure they can make an informed decision regarding their purchase. It’s all about having a real connection with customers and developing a close bond with weekly phone calls.
Our customers are not another number to us. We pride ourselves on maintaining long-term relationships. As the Director of Sales, I work with nearly all of the departments at the plant, from the Warehouse to Accounting.

Q: Why did you choose Stahmanns as your “home?”
A: Being born and raised in Las Cruces, NM, I knew staying close to home was important to me. I remember feeling excited to be a part of a company that values the community as much as I do. Q: What have you learned about the pecan industry in your time at Stahmanns?
A: It’s all about providing an honest product, and being honest with your customers about that product. Your customers know when you are looking out for their best interests and continue to “reward” you with their business time and time again. Mistakes help us develop—without these mistakes we cannot learn and grow, thus providing some of the best pecans on the market. Since working for Stahmanns, I have gained confidence in my own skills to show companies they can trust where they are investing their time. My confidence reflects my skill set as well as the skill set of the company I represent.

Q: What do you love about Stahmanns Pecans?
